Abstract Alexander Arkatov was a teacher of theater at the Imperial School of the Theatre and an Associate Professor of Fine Arts at the University of Moscow, where he lectured on the history of drama. He was a member of the Moscow Art Theatre, studied under Stanislavsky, and later worked at the Moscow Camerny Theatre under Director Tairov.
